AN INTERACTIVE LEARNING KIT
SMITHSONIAN EXHIBIT
GIFT BOX
Overview
This five part project was made to function as a gift box for the Smithsonian Exhibit "Objects of Wonder." The target audience I aimed for was children since my exhibit was mostly about science. First off, the box was made to be monotone yet also intruiging with the illustrations. Next, the business card shows off the paleobiology portion of the exhibit while also acting as a call to action to learn more. There is a catalogue book that covers all seven sections of the exhibit. There is an interactive bug diagram utilizing acetate that covers the anatomy and body systems of a rhinoceros beetle. There is a sticker sheet that was made to show off my illustration. And lastly an interactive finder activity. It uses colored acetate to reveal images as they are inserted into the belly band.
